ADSMKE has actively been involved in HIV/AIDS work for the last 15 years being in the forefront for HIV prevention, care and support of PLWHIV and OVC.

ADSMKE has previously worked with the following partners in her HIV/AIDS prevention, care and support of PLWHIV and OVC as well as stigma reduction: -
+    Global Fund Geneva for stigma reduction in Mwea Division of Mbeere district
+    Family Health International for training of CBRPs on stigma reduction
+    NACC for care of PLWHIV and OVCs
+    CACC Mwea for BCC targeting youths in school and out of school
+    ACK Head Office for BCC targeting youths in church and out of church in 14 selected congregations in Kirinyaga, Embu and Mbeere Dioceses
+    Bread for the World (Brot) Germany in Integrated Development Programme
+    USAID PEPFAR through Tearfund BCC, PMTCT and HCT targeting youths in church and general population in 60 selected parishes in Kirinyaga, Embu, Mbeere and Meru Dioceses among other local and international agencies.

In her work, ADSMKE works through training CBRPs to build their capacity in delivering HIV prevention messages that are balanced and youth friendly. The major platform is the church irrespective of denominational affiliation. The lead curriculums are Choose Life for Youths, Keys to Healthy Relationship for those in long term relationships and Our Communities for pastoral care and counselling.

ADSMKE has a strong and dedicated team of well trained and experienced staff who are involved in capacity building of Churches, youth groups and general population as well as mobilisation. They include: -
+    HIV/AIDS Trainers    
+    PMTCT  Trainer                         
+    BCC Trainer                            
+    BCC Trainer                                 
+    PMTCT Nurses                            
+    HCT Counsellors                        

ADSMKE endevours to see a community that is free from HIV as well as minimal or no stigma and discrimination against PLWHIV, OVC and affected families.

To achieve the above goal ADS MKE will continue to work with local and international partners.
